Missed days will have to be made up

Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers declared a state of emergency last week due to the strong winter weather that has been hitting the state hard.

Although it was a state of emergency, it is necessary for the school district to make up two of the four days students missed. The board of education is now trying to decide how and where they should fill in these days.

It is still early in the winter season and an issue the board is having right now is it’s possible that there will have other snow days throughout the season. This makes it more difficult to decide if it’s better to add the days onto the end of the year or if it’s more beneficial to fit them in throughout the rest of the year.
