Mallory Wanta, Hour 5
Mallory was born and raised in Stevens Point where she still lives today. She considers herself a hard worker, working in food service for the Aspirus Hospital on Illinois Ave, spending her free time reading sci-fi and fantasy books or playing the Sims 3. A quote she resonates with is from the science fiction novel “Scythe,” “Without the threat of suffering, we can’t experience true joy.” Her sister, a scientist, inspires her to be a better person and to reach her goals of graduating college and getting a job she really enjoys. Her current pursuit in college is biochemistry, something she’s enjoyed for a while.
