Registration is now open for the HOSA group’s annual color run which takes place on April 18. It is co-sponsored by radio station, Hot 96.7
All proceeds go to the Marshfield Clinic Cancer Center (MCCC) Angel Fund in Stevens Point.
Participants will receive a white color run t-shirt if they register by March 13. Shirts are not guaranteed after that date. There is a $25 admission fee. Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult and children under the age of 4 are free but will not receive a t-shirt.
Color run participants are able to run, walk, jog, even crawl if desired, through the two-and-a-half-mile course. Starting at SPASH, the run goes through the Green Circle Trail, Zenoff Park, Sculpture Park and concludes with a two-way split path at SPASH’s practice football field to divide those who do or do not wish to participate in the color powder party.
The Angel Fund helps cancer patients with financial assistance with non-medical bills like mortgage payments, transportation costs to appointments, car repairs, groceries, utility bills and rent so families can focus on helping their loved one battle cancer.

I always wanted to do a color run and it’s cool we were going to have one here at SPASH. I like the information you gave about the cost and who helped make this.

This sounds like a really fun event for a good cause. Maybe next year I will check it out.

I love how much detail you put in this article and how you talked about where the money will be going to. I was thinking about doing this event but I did not know much information about it but you gave great information.

I like how you added you can even crawl if desired. That made me laugh a little bit, You were very straight forward with your article and I liked it. It made me wanna do the color run with my friends.

When you first say a abbreviated acronym it may be smart to spell it out before using the acronym because i know of HOSA but not what it stands for although you did do it for the Marsh Field clinic. A picture could also help the article even if its one from last years color run. The article covers all the needed detail for anyone interested in participating in the run and even its purpose which I rather like.
