Ashtyn Zimmerman, Hour 6
Ashtyn Zimmerman was born and raised in the Stevens Point area where they still remain today. Like many people around here they’re artsy and a bit of a modern flower child, communing with nature and dedicating themself to creativity. They take a very personal approach to their fashion and sense of self, using clothes as a form of creative expression and to wear their heart on their sleeve. Other forms of creative expression that they enjoy include drawing with all sorts of things, painting, sculpting, pottery, and mixed media; they've even won awards for some of their pieces. Inspired by an ex, they aspire to be a nurse and help others as much as they can. They’re going to start working towards a nursing degree next semester and continue that momentum into northwestern Illinois where they’ll live with their grandma and get their degree. Their connection and care for others extends to nature as well, spending time (though not as much as they’d like) out in the woods and trying to connect with the plants.
