Blai Day Yang is a natural born Wisconsinite but has family in Minnesota whom she visits frequently. Although Chicago is somewhere she is interested in living later in her life. One of her favorite things to do outside of school is to read horror and mystery books. She is a part of Hmong club. It is a school club where they do activities about the Hmong culture. She also likes to cook traditional Hmong dishes at home. Working is not on Blai’s agenda currently because of the fact she doesn’t own a car. She likes the comfort of being alone most of the time. And once she is finally done with high school she wants to go to a tech college.
