The Gene LaRose Elementary District Track meet is an annual gathering where the fifth and sixth-grade classes from all of the district’s elementary schools compete in various physical sports and events. This marks a special year as it is the 50th anniversary of the track meet.

The event will take place on May 21 and 22 at Community Stadium at Goerke Park. An alternate rain date has been set for the May 24. If students are interested in watching the track meet they will need a parent to excuse them from class.
