INTERNATIONAL: According to CNN, Germany lawmakers must legally recognize a “third gender.” Germany will be the first country to offer intersex people to be able to identify themselves as such on their birth certificates.

LOCAL: According to The Stevens Point Journal, Kmart will be closing its doors in Stevens Point as part of a large-scale shutdown of stores throughout the United States involving a total of 45 locations, including the one at 111 Division St. in Stevens Point. Stores will remain open through the holiday season.

SPASH: On Nov. 9, the SPASH Jazz Band will be holding a concert in the auditorium from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
