Worth it or not worth it?

October is a time for many types of celebration. It’s a time for fright and scare, planned around Halloween of course. It’s the time when people decorate their houses and yards with spooky things. They watch horror movies and scare each other for fun.

There are lots of fun activities you can do only in and around October like hayrides, corn mazes, haunted houses and carving pumpkins. And don’t forget trick or treating for the little ones.

But the question is, are these things worth the money we spend on them?

An average haunted house can cost anywhere from $15 all the way up to $30. While they’re fun and exciting they don’t usually last very long.

Most corn mazes and hay rides cost around $10. These are both very exciting things to do. They generally take a pretty good amount of time as well.

You could take that money and spend it on something else, but that wouldn’t be fun would it?

In my opinion, they are definitely worth it. Activities like corn mazes are really fun things to do with friends and family. You get to be out in nature solving riddles and finding your way out of the tall corn. Although it might be frustrating at sometimes, in the end, it’s very rewarding to finally “see the light at the end of the tunnel.”

Obviously, if you don’t like being scared, you shouldn’t go to a housed house and spend money doing something you hate. But truly the rest of these activities are things everyone can love and enjoy.
